THEORY(ish): What if Old Poptropica Really is Dead?

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! Heeeyyy guys, PW here. While finishing Crisis Caverns, I noticed the pile of all old Poptropica stuff near the King and Queen’s throne. From credits to the slip-of-a-cliff sign, even Dr. Hare’s minion helmets, there is a hoard of old Poptropica items.
Underground.
Surrounded by weird wormy things that have a name that sounds like a disease.
Heck.
The question is, how did it end up there? Sure, maybe the Creators wanted to do a cameo for old players, but what if it’s something moret than that? It may sound ridiculous, but I have a reason for thinking this.
What if phasing out Poptropica was part of their plan all along? To replace it with a more evolved species (help I sound like a nerd) of the Poptropicans?
What if the reason Poptropica Worlds became a thing is because there’s a story bigger than we could have imagined?
So many questions… Maybe the “apocolypse” mentioned in CC affected Poptropica? Call me crazy, but what if the mole people are really just old Poptropicans who fell through during Ragnarok? Sorry for the minor reference there.
This is really more of a ramble than a theory. If you want me to work on this more, comment below and help me find some evidence!
